Photos from Day 1 are here!
- 10 hour flight from Newark, NJ to Tel Aviv, Israel. I caught up on Lost and started watching V for Vendetta.
- Arrive at our hotel - Mount Zion Hotel, a converted Turkish mansion.
- Explore the Old City - the ancient part of Jerusalem.
- Walk around Jerusalem, Ben Yehuda street, and other surrounding areas.

I have no idea what this says but it has a funny picture. People eat more than just falafel (and pizza) in Israel - this is a Thai restaurant.

Coffee houses with crazy themes and trendy retro furniture - could this be the next big thing? Starbucks never caught on in Israel, and eventually closed all of their stores. Maybe this is why.

My dad suggested I hang out here to meet women. Of course I wouldn't do that - I don't match either of the two requirements.

I don't know what this sign says, but how often do you see signs with pets pooping?

A hallway in our hotel, which was once a Turkish mansion. It has the Turkish designs and motifs throughout, including a huge Turkish bath (steam room) with arched ceilings.

Outside the hotel. We're exhausted, going to bed, more to see tomorrow!
